Yes, I do. I have my Facebook fan page, blog, Twitter etc.
I have twitted recently several time something like "looking for happy couples who bought my Ketubah designs..." but with Twitter its like throwing a message in a bottle into the ocean, and the message is written on bio-degradable paper that lasts between 5 minutes to a day or two ;-)
Putting the message on Facebook is a great idea, so I will do that, and I was planning also on my site and blog to put a permanent message for prospective clients, just in case they do end up buying it.
Another approach I tried was to speak with the manufacturer, and ask them to insert a copy of a letter from me to the buyers. Won't cost them anything to do it (one piece of paper added to the shipment they do anyway, and I offered to print it and deliver it to them), but they still refused to do it... Now I am looking for additional manufacturers that will give me the access to the client base or at least a letter like that with my contact info, and if the clients want to contact me, they could.

Thanks again for the great discussion!
:-)

Is there a Facebook fan page or other area you could leave comments, requests to see photos, etc? I am trying that as well - posting that I'd love to see what people do with my designs and post it to my blog on different sites... worth a shot! Good luck!

Great article Tara, thank you so much for sharing it!
I am facing excatly this issue with my Ketubah designs which the manufacturer sell to the end consumers (bride and groom) online and I have no way to get to them :-( not even to get testimonials or wedding photo with the product.
I find your article inspiring and shows that there is always a way somehow!
Thanks again

You go girl! I have found that smaller chains or local stores are more likely to have special events, groups and promotions for their customers and they are always in need of people to talk and share. How will they find you if you don't raise your hand? Of course you might want to take a business card to the stores and save the note cards for the end consumers. :)

What a wonderful article, Tara!
You made such a great point about the consumers!
I enjoy to read about your interaction with them and, besides all the business side, you gave them so much happiness - from your presence and your art. It is priceless!!!
Thank you once again :0)
