Art Licensing Girl Identity: Revealed!
When I came downstairs to have my son take the latest goofy photo of me for the blog, I have to tell you I scared him a bit. I had my costume on, showed him the cartoon and said, "I have to look like this." He replied, "I'm terrified by how much you do! It's kind of creepy!"
Let's just say I was pleased as punch!
So just WHY had I created a costume and flipped my hair out (burning my finger on the rarely used curling iron!) and dressed up like a cartoon?

I've been doing my homework he gave during the Branding teleseminar and know that others are as well. As I prepare for SURTEX I figure it is a great time to step back and look at the big picture: my art, how I present it, what I will be saying and showing at the show... the timing couldn't be more perfect!

You look great in your Art Licensing girl costume. The branding teleseminar with Paul Brent was indeed full of great ideas, and I am working diligently to implement at least some of them. At the moment I am working on my tagline.
I have found myself writing a list of lists of all things I must do. It's a challenge to accomplish them having only 24 hours in a day, but I keep on charging ahead. Thank you for all your positive energy.
Thanks Leyla! Paul gave us A LOT to do in a week and I'll admit, I didn't get it all done. But it's a process and not a "do or die" so if we keep going back to the information and implement the strategies - I firmly believe we will all come out with a more focused and stronger brand!
