The history of the Art Licensing Blog…

The Art Licensing Blog is a piece of the larger “Art Licensing Info” family of websites.

Licensed artist Tara Reed began the growing list of sites in 2008 to provide the kind of information and resources she wished she had when starting out in licensing. Tara’s goal is to combine her business background, experience in the industry, and love of teaching, to help artists grow their business without breaking the bank.

With the addition of Paul Brent’s expertise in 2009 and more experts since then, the mission of “Art Licensing Info” is provide artists with a variety of ways to learn about the art licensing industry from artists and experts in the field. Other experts who have contributed include Mary Engelbreit, Debbie Mumm, Jill Seale, Dena of Dena Designs, Drew Brophy, agent Suzanne Cruise and Attorney Cheryl Hodgson, among others.
